Batman: The Brave and the Bold Season 3 Episode 7
Welcome to the lovers of film Batman: The Brave and the Bold. this time the movie Batman: The Brave and the Bold is already entering Season 3 Episode 7, the more interesting and more exciting because the story is not monotonous and flat.
Each episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold features main character Batman teaming up with other characters from the DC Universe to thwart villains or solve crimes. Beginnings usually have a small introduction and are usually not related to the remainder of the episode, apart from the regular appearances and reappearances of a villain who will figure prominently in episodes to come. In the first season, the villain was Equinox, who later returned in "Time Out for Vengeance!"; and in the second season, the villain was the alien Starro.
The show is split into two parts: A small adventure right before the theme song, and the main adventure right after that, similar to The Batman. The show's creator has said that if a character's guest appearance in the teaser is deemed successful, then it may warrant exploring the character further in a future episode's main adventure.
I liked the opening, especially the Wonder Woman music in the background, and heck, just seeing Wonder Woman make her official starring debut in a Brave and the Bold episode, the action was cool and the villains were as well, though I am getting a bit tired of these stereotypical nazi villains with their stereotypical accents, I hate Steve Rogers, he was obnoxious in the Wonder Woman movie, and not much has changed here, well, actually they intentionally amp up his annoying persona, but he was only given limited screentime, so I tolerated him more here than I did in the Wonder Woman DTV movie. The main episode is decent enough, though we've seen much better this season. Green Lantern, Hal Jordan gets his own episode, good, I was getting a tad fed up with Guy Gardner's moronic "in your face" personality. We also see Star Sapphire, so was the beginning taking place after the events at the end, or was it simply beginning with the end fight with Star Sapphire, there were some other confusing moments in the episode, I knew who Star Sapphire really is, and the red herring didn't fool me, so you're just waiting for the action since "the big surprise" is pretty obvious even to those who's not familiar with Green Lantern.
Michael Jai White, who was Spawn, the only thing that movie got right, voices Tattooed Man, and he is very cool, him and the character, despite only having a few lines and the action scene is pretty entertaining, the fight at the end is better but I somehow expected more, remember the awesome action in "Revenge of the Reach!", whenever I see Green Lantern I expect creative use of the ring that makes for memorable battles, this one was merely good. I thought the ending was clicheed, oh, the posessed person fights with herself to regain control over her body, we've all seen that a gazillion times. I like Green Lantern, and I am looking forward to the upcoming live action movie, but this episode, while perfectly decent and enjoyable, is not among the better episodes and I won't be rewatching it again and again like many others from the series.
